Speaking about the church today.
These are some of the basics about the church.
Why am I apart of a local body of believers.
I am a local church guy. I always have
been.
Believe people should be apart of one,
God wants to use it.
Ephesians 4:11-16
There are several roles the church plays in our
lives.
Who we are:
The church is the physical representative of
Jesus to the earth…community.
What is the function of the church:
The church is ordained by God to equip
Christians.
To furnish what is needed.
The goal is through service, teaching…. Come to
fullness of Christ.
Fullness of maturity in:
-
patience
-
wisdom
-
discernment
-
love
-
faith
-
joy
-
strength
The church equips… furnishes what’s needed -
Like a gym. If you go there… they have furnished
all you need.

it’s a matter of taking advantage of it.

and learning how to use it.

It’s not all about you at church, but it is…
kind of.
The focus of service is always about
and for others.
God – takes all things and works them
for our good
